An SMM panel is an online platform where you order social media services, such as followers, likes, views, or comments, through a dashboard or API. You choose a service, enter the target link or username, set a quantity, and the system processes the order automatically. SMM stands for Social Media Marketing.

This article explains how an SMM panel works, the terms you will come across, how to choose a panel, and, the part that is often skipped, the risks you should weigh.

How an SMM panel worksLink to section How an SMM panel works

Almost every SMM panel follows the same flow:

  1. Sign up. You create an account on the panel.
  2. Top up your balance. Orders use a balance you fund first (top up), for example by bank transfer, e-wallet, or QRIS.
  3. Choose a service. Each service has a price per 1,000 units, minimum and maximum order limits, and notes on speed and refill.
  4. Enter the target and quantity. Usually a post link or username is enough. A good panel does not ask for your social media account password.
  5. The order is processed. The panel's system processes the order automatically, and its status updates: pending, processing, completed, or partial.

Your balance is deducted when the order is created. If an order is cancelled or only partially delivered, the refund rules follow each panel's own policy.

Commonly available servicesLink to section Commonly available services

  • Followers: the number of accounts following a profile or channel.
  • Likes: the number of likes on a post or video.
  • Views: the number of views on a video or post.
  • Comments: comments on a post or video.
  • Shares: the number of shares or reposts.

The platforms and service types on offer differ from panel to panel. On Instanizer, the full list with prices is on the services and pricing page.

Key terms to understandLink to section Key terms to understand

  • Price per 1,000: almost every panel shows the price for 1,000 units. Total cost = price per 1,000 divided by 1,000, multiplied by the order quantity.
  • Refill: (see what drop and refill are) replacement if the count drops after an order finishes, usually only for services with a guarantee within a set period (for example 30 days). Services without refill are not replaced if the count drops.
  • Drop: the percentage of units lost after an order finishes. High drop makes the price per unit that stays more expensive than it looks.
  • Start time and speed: how long it takes for an order to start running and how many units are delivered per day.
  • Drip-feed: delivery in stages over several repetitions with a set pause, rather than all at once.
  • Minimum and maximum: the quantity limits per order for each service.

Risks and things you should knowLink to section Risks and things you should know

Before using an SMM panel, weigh the following honestly:

  • Platform terms. Platforms such as Instagram and TikTok generally prohibit artificial interactions. Accounts that use this kind of service risk being restricted. A panel is not affiliated with those platforms and cannot guarantee your account's safety.
  • Not a real audience. A rising number does not automatically mean potential customers. For a business, engagement from a real audience is still the most valuable.
  • Drop. The count can fall after an order finishes, especially on services without refill.
  • Quality varies. A very low price often means lower speed, refill, or quality.
  • Never share your password. A legitimate order only needs a link or username. If a panel asks for your social media account password, do not continue.
